Vacation House Watch 

The Keller Police Department provides a security house check service for all residents of the city.  

This service is available to residents who will be away from home for at least three days, with a maximum of twenty-one days.  If you plan to be away longer than twenty-one days, you may wish to speak with the Sergeant on duty at (817) 743-4522.

You may pick up a Vacation/House Check form from the Front Desk Monday - Friday, during regular business hours. We will fax a copy of the form to you if you prefer.  Upon completion of the Vacation/House Check form, the Records Clerk will assign you a personal house check number.   This number is very important to this service, as it allows the police officers to check your residence by radio, without giving your actual address.  It is also important that you protect your number from unwanted disclosure.  An officer from your district will check your residence while you are away, as often as district staffing allows.

When you return, please call the police department at (817) 743-4522, with your personal house check number - at any hour - to cancel the service.
