Three New Officers
Join Police Department

Three new officers hit the road with the Keller Police Department.
Officers Amanda Baker, Brent Cross, and Christina Krause have
finished the department’s 14-week field training program and will
now assume their responsibilities as patrol officers. Officer
Baker is a Keller resident and graduate from Keller High School and
Texas A&M University. She had set her goal to be a Keller police
officer several years ago and interned with the department while she was
in college. Officer Cross is a graduate from Richland High School
and served in the US Marine Corps. Officer Krause is a University of
North Texas graduate and was a History teacher prior to becoming a
police officer.
It takes over 32 weeks of training before a person can assume
the responsibilities of a police officer. Join me in welcoming these
three individuals, who bring different experiences and diversity to our
police force.

Officers
Baker, Cross, and Krause receive their Oath of Office
from
Chief Mark R. Hafner Upon successful
completion of this in-service training, the Chief of Police administers the Police
Officer's Oath of Office in a ceremony witnessed by invited guests, family members, and other
department and city staff members. The officer is invited to
select a family member to pin on the new officer's first badge of office.
If
you happen to meet one of these new officers, please take the time to
congratulate them for their efforts and welcome them to the City of
Keller. |
